Intensive Marital Intervention

We are pleased to offer an intensive marital intervention for couples in which they are seen three to four times weekly or for 3-4 hours on one day. This program has been effective in quickly uncovering the major emotional and character weaknesses in marital self-giving in each spouse from various life stages.

Regularly conflicts of sadness and loneliness, anger, anxiety/mistrust and insecurity with parents, siblings, significant others and spouses are identified and addressed. In addition, spouses are expected to uncover and work on a weakness in self-giving acquired from modeling after a parent. Many of these conflicts were not identified or properly addressed even if the couple had participated previously in marital or individual therapy.

Couples are expected to complete the checklists that evaluate weaknesses in marital self-giving from the evaluate your marital friendship chapter on this website and bring them into the first session.

Our offices are a short walk from the Philadelphia Marriott West in W. Conshohocken, PA.
